Eldred Rock Lighthouse was automated in 1973, which means it has remained unmanned for over 48 years! This solitary neglect will take a toll on any building, especially one that experiences such extreme weather conditions as Eldred Rock in Southeast Alaska. Our Association is full of passionate historians and volunteers but restoring, preserving, and sharing this lighthouse takes time, money, and effort. Please consider joining our association by donating annually towards a lifetime membership and volunteering through fundraising and work parties.
Joining can be done online by emailing the membership or volunteer forms under this tab to eldredrocklighthouse@gmail.com
Membership payment is simple by following clicking the yellow DONATE button at the bottom of this page, please put “Membership” in your notes. Thank you for your support!
